New WKAFC Director of Football

Ian Porteous has been appointed to the new full time position of WKAFC Director of Football which spans junior and youth age groups, as well as the club’s premier Men’s team.

The appointment underlines Karori’s commitment to high-level football, and will help to develop high performance in the club. It should also see greater emphasis placed on youth grades and their achievement and development.

Ian’s playing (he conquered Europe with Aberdeen under Sir Alex Ferguson) and coaching record is second to none.
