Females in Football 2011

Girls Only Summer League

Capital Football are again running a summer league at Te Whaea.  Grades are under 12, under 10 and under 8.  There are not many details yet.  You will be able to enrol through the club, and we can provide you with gear, strip and help with coaching support for a little more cost.  Otherwise, you can enter a team directly.

Futsal

You can enter a futsal team for a girls and women's tournament at the new Indoor Community Stadium being held on the weekend of 22-23 October.

Karori Brooklyn Girls Development Squad

Continues through to the first week in November when a squad goes to Taupo for the McCartney tournament.  

Upcoming dates are:

  • 1 October games against Miramar 9.30 under 10s and 10.30 under 13s at Narinville
  • 8-9 Oct Training at Boyd Wilson 6-7.30
  • 16th Oct 9-a-side tournament on Sunday at 4 with Western Suburbs girls squad at Nairnville
  • 22/3 Oct Futsal Tournament at Indoor Community Stadium
  • 29 Oct games against Upper Hutt at Awaikarangi park

Looking ahead to next year:

  • Upper Hutt Kick it girls tournament in February 2012
  • A return match against Wests Girls Academy
