Karori has won the Grade 12 Super Six Cup for 2011.

The club's 12th grade first team edged out Western Suburbs 2-1 in a tense final played at Nairnville Park on 27 August.  Goal scorers for Karori were Michael Bergin and William Newton.

The Super Six Cup is an end-of-season competition between the six teams who finished with the most points in the Junior Premier League (JPL).  Just qualifying to play in the Cup competition is a great effort.

Coached by John Masseurs and Tony Straugheir, the team has worked hard to improve its skills and fitness to win the Cup.  Last year they travelled to Melbourne to attend a soccer academy and in October will head to Auckland for a trans-Tasman competition.

The win caps off a great year for the team which won 13 games, lost two, and scored 47 goals compared to 15 against.
