Karori Grade 10 Train with the Phoenix

Special training with Wellington Phoenix

On Monday 10th May we had the highlight of our season so far in terms of training sessions. Our grade 10 Promo players were given the unique experience of training with some of the stars of the Wellington Phoenix football team.
Juan Propato arranged that four Wellington Phoenix players (Troy Hearfield, Vince Lia, Manny Muscat and Daniel) attend a special joint training session with Karori and North Wellington clubs.
Players were encouraged to learn new skills, before playing some small sided games, which included the Phoenix stars. Juan Propato noted “I think this is a great opportunity for the Promo players from the 3 clubs”.
Thank you to Juan and the Wellington Phoenix Management and Players for arranging the session. If you saw the excitement this created for the grade 10 players, this was truly a special event. This session was of course completed by lots of autographs being requested

Easter Tournament at Kapiti Coast United

Karori wins grades 10, 11 and 13 during Easter and Karori won the tournament overall for 2010.

Karori Cup

The annual tournament is played between Karori and Upper Hutt

Results on 25th April 2010: Karori had 8 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws. Congratulations Karori - wins the Cup for third year in a row.
